X-Men the Animated Series debuted 28 years ago this week on Halloween in 1992. It was extremely popular and ended up amassing a giant fanbase, which helped pave the way for the success of 20th Century Fox’s live-action X-Men film in 2000, which itself was the beginning of what was to become a 20 year run of popular and successful superhero movies and television series.
Norm Spencer, the actor who voiced Cyclops on the show, passed away in August of this year, and the cast recently reunited virtually for the first time since making the show to pay tribute to him and share their memories of the production.
The panel, moderated by Chandler Poling, features Alison Sealy-Smith (Storm), Cal Dodd (Wolverine), Chris Britton (Mr. Sinister). Chris Potter (Gambit). George Buza (Beast), Lenore Zann (Rogue), Ron Rubin ( Morph), and producer/artist/director Larry Houston.
For fans who want to hear more from the X-men cast members, they are reuniting Saturday November 7th at 10am PST / 1pm EST via Wizard World for a live zoom panel, plus signing autographs and answering fan questions during one on one live chats.
