Working man tells the story of the last factory in a small Rust Belt town closes, an unlikely hero emerges. Against the advice of his wife, a career employee continues going to his nonexistent job and forms a friendship with his neighbor in order to revive the defunct factory.
It’s a film that is timely but at the same time timeless as work changes because of technology, companies wanting larger profit margins by shipping jobs to other states/countries, and the havoc it leaves behind not only to communities but human cost. The film stars Peter Gerety, someone, you’ve seen in film and tv for years in a new challenging role where he’s able to shine.
