Wonder Woman Girl Power with Street Food Cinema

It’s GIRL power this weekend with Street Food Cinema! They have Wonder Woman in Glendale and Selena DTLA!

It’s been seven years since Steve Allison & Heather Hope-Allison founded Street Food Cinema to combine love of movies, drive-ins and food! Fans can see new and classic films in Los Angeles, San Diego and Phoenix.

This weekend I’m heading to Verdugo Park in Glendale with Gigi the Geek for Wonder Woman where part of the event proceeds are going to Red Nose Day USA! We also plan to enjoy LA food truck cuisine from Meat the Greek, Ralph & Richies, SUGO, The Shrimp & Taco Stop, Yuna’s Bob, Dreamy Creations AND Drunken Cake Pops, and dance to live music from DJ Ivy (http://www.djivyla.com/home/).

You can also head DTLA for the classic tragic tale of “Selena”at Exposition Park in Los Angeles, with live music from Selena tribute band Dreaming of You at 6:30pmand Food Truck favorites Canvas Food Truck, Goshen, Los Tamaleros, Not Your Mamas Kitchen, Oaxaca on Wheels, Phillyfornia, Roni Macaroni, Romolo’s Italian Kitchen, Spyros Gyros, Triple Threat Truck, Wise BBQ, Churro Stix, Drunken Cake Pops & more will be onsite.

Don’t stay home “Dazed & Confused” or you’ll miss a fun night with special guests Q&A, music and a movie. 

Our 7th season offers so many exciting titles, that began with the incredible 2018 Oscar nominees “Get Out” on May 5th,“The Greatest Showman” on June 16th, and “Coco” on October 27th. As well as anniversary screenings for beloved fan favorites “Dazed & Confused” starting our season on April 28th, “The Land Before Time”on May 19th, “The Big Lebowski” on June 9th, “Mrs. Doubtfire” on June 16th, “Stand and Deliver” and “I, Tonya” on June 23rd, “The Sandlot”  on June 30th, “Grease” on July 21st, “Mamma Mia!” on August 4th, “Casablanca” on August 25th, “The Wedding Singer” on September 1st, “Nick & Nora’s Infinite Playlist”on September 8th, “Practical Magic” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” on September 29th and “Twilight” and the original cult classic “Halloween” on October 13th. We’ll also debut our first double-feature PJ party “The Craft” & “Teen Witch” on September 15th.
