This show is going to steal my heart with puzzles, fantasy & cosplay
At the 2022 Wondercon, they had the executive production team chat about the new fantasy adventure reality/scripted hybrid series ‘The Quest’. The new series is on Disney+ premiering on May 11th as part of the original content on the streaming service. Jane Fleming & Mark Ordesky (Court Five), Bertram Van Munster & Elise Doganieri (The New Media Collective), and Michael Williams & Rob Eric (Scout Production Inc) about the casting process shooting and working with kids, and insights into the hybrid model. It sounds intriguing especially since we will have the sense of wonder from kids who are a mix of renaissance/cosplay, theatre, and geeks (these kids are ME when I was in HS). I’m looking forward to watching and exploring Everealm with all of you!
We were very focused on the aesthetic of the show, from production design through costume design, making sure that everything felt authentic. We wanted both our Paladins and our audience to feel immersed in the epic world we created.
