TBS post-apocalyptic, sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer came to Comic-Con® International with a panel featuring Oscar® winner Jennifer Connelly, Tony Award® winner Daveed Diggs, Emmy® nominee Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Tony Award® winner and Grammy® nominee Lena Hall, Steven Ogg and executive producer and showrunner Graeme Manson. Season premier Spring 2020 on TBS.
I saw the new trailer and am very excited for the series premiering this spring. It looks absolutely bonkers with a award winning cast, great writing and story that will have me tuning in every week. I’d like to think I’d be with the posh people but really I’d be in the back <wa wa>! I can’t wait to see this show just for the great cast alone watching the trailer has me on the edge of my seat. The upcoming series is based on the Titan Comics graphic novel and starts more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, SNOWPIERCER centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation.
In addition to Connelly and Diggs, season one of SNOWPIERCER stars Emmy® nominee Alison Wright (The Americans), Mickey Sumner (Frances Ha, Battle of the Sexes), Susan Park (Ghostbusters), Iddo Goldberg (Peaky Blinders, The Zookeeper’s Wife), Katie McGuinness(Dirty Filthy Love), Tony Award® winner and Grammy® nominee Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Annalise Basso (Bedtime Stories), Sam Otto (Jellyfish), Roberto Urbina (Narcos), Sheila Vand (Argo) and Jaylin Fletcher (Saturday Church).
