Jennifer Garner dropped hints at SeriesFest Friday night about wanting to reunite with her Alias castmates for an Alias continuation.
“I have a couple things to say about this. It is insane how close I am to that cast still. I’ve texted with Kevin Wiseman. I have texted with Merrin Dungey in the last week. I’ve spoken to Victor Garber in the last week. Ron Rifkin. I love those people. And still–Michael Vartan, Carl Lumbley, oh, and of course Gina Torres,” Garner said, in a conversation with Krista Smith, host of the Netfliix podcast Present Company. “So that—I guarantee–we would all be game. The thing is, Krista–you’ve got to talk to your buddy J.J. (Abrams, the creator of Alias), and you’ve got to talk to your buddies at Netflix. They would have to want to do it.”
“It would be great for Netflix,” Smith agreed.
You can see the Alias exchange in the clip below.
Alias, created by Abrams, ran on ABC from 2001-2006. Garner starred as Sydney Bristow, an international spy recruited out of college. The series also starred Bradley Cooper, Michael Vartan, Ron Rifkin, Carl Lumbly, Victor Garber, and Greg Grunberg.
