Thanks to Covid-19 (more like no thanks) Comic Cons around the globe have been forced to cancel their yearly dates. One of the biggest comic conventions had to cancel this year, San Diego Comic Con. Myself and many others look forward to this event every year in July and even though it’s sad that it was canceled, a bright lining has been given in the form of videos straight to your internet enabled devices.
Comic-Con@Home will be an online event taking place on July 22-26th, the same time as the original dates of the now canceled con. Included in this free event will be an online Exhibit Hall featuring exhibitors with limited edition items, promos and specials that will be unique to SDCC. Just like the in-person event, Comic-Con@Home will also feature panels and presentations from a wide variety of comics, television, film, publishers and more. The best part is you don’t have to wait in long, hot lines. Eat those infamous hot dogs of Hall H or wait day and night in a line only to be cut off by one person in front of you at the entrance.
Comic-Con will be updating thru out June and July about what will specifically be included in the online experience. Stay tuned to this site as well as we update you on what you will be enjoying in the next few weeks! Are you excited that you can attend from the comfort of your own home? Let us know in the comments below what you’re most excited for.
