Get ready to PURGE at SDCC Purge City Store

How or should I say WHO will you Purge??  USA Network’s immersive activation and panel for the new television series USA Network THE PURGE (TV Series) is a continuation of the film series that’s a world wide phenomenon that will be killing on USA Network on Tuesday, September 4 at 10/9c.

America’s first “Purge City” store that allows you to stock up for your ‘nothing is illegal’ night of mayhem opens on July 19th in the Gaslamp District (no badge required). “Purge City” staff can help Purgers stalk up to either hide or mayhem with everything from energy drinks to candles and more!

Purgers can have a fun filled shopping experience with Purge photo opportunities, learn the Purge History of the ‘New Founding Fathers of America’, the Staten Island experiment and annual Purge Nights. “Purge City” will be open for business at 215 Tony Gwynn Drive— from Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 21 from 11 AM until 7 PM and Sunday, July 22 from 11 AM until 4 PM.
Based on the hit movie franchise from Blumhouse Productions, The Purge revolves around a 12-hour period when all crime, including murder, is legal. Set in an altered America ruled by a totalitarian political party, the series follows several seemingly unrelated characters living in a small city. As the clock winds down, each character is forced to reckon with their past as they discover how far they will go to survive the night.

The Purge is written and executive produced by the film franchise creator James DeMonaco and led by Jason Blum. Additionally, the entire team behind the blockbuster franchise ‎are on board to executive produce: Michael Bay with Brad Fuller and Andrew Form under the Platinum Dunes banner and Sebastien K. Lemercier. Thomas Kelly serves as executive producer/showrunner of the series. Emmy® and Golden Globe® award-winner Anthony Hemingway will direct and executive produce the premiere episode.
