The classic book series gets another adaptation in the form of a TV show on The CW. Over the years, the blond detective has seen the silver and small screen. This new rendition finds Drew (now a red head) in a darker, more thrilling setting.
I didn’t think I would be excited for another telling of the teen sleuth, but the First Look Trailer got me interested. Nancy is older and the show looks as if the tone will be on the darker side. And ADAM BEACH!!! The new series premiers this fall and stars Kennedy McMann as Nancy, Scott Wolf (Replacing Freddie Prinz Jr.) as her father Carson, Maddison Jaizani as Bess, Leah Lewis as George and Tunji Kasam as love interest Ned Nickerson.
