“Mortal Enemy” tells the tale of Vant Hu’l, a warrior from a past era who carries a curse, bestowed upon him by the most frightening of all villains: Death himself. In his journey through the wasteland, and in navigating a world that’s become corrupted and vile, he develops an unlikely friendship with a clever and venturesome teenage girl, the expert survivalist Skii Tavee. They also join forces with two questionable companions: Kram Grammie, the sneaky con man who is as crafty as he is klepto, and an off-kilter eccentric known as The World’s Worst Magician. Together, they set out to dispatch their foes, rescue innocents caught in the crossfire, and unite the forces of a world gone astray, all while reconciling with their own haunting pasts.
