Snap out of it and enjoy a classic RomCom
I’m feeling a little lonely and out of sorts as I get used to the ‘new normal’. Life is coming at us fast and I know I’m not the only one who needs a distraction.
| It’s hard to predict what the next few weeks will be like, but we are staying optimistic that the 2nd Annual Rom-Com Fest will take place this June 25-28 in Los Angeles. We’ll keep you posted. Now we are still accepting submissions! The Late deadline is tomorrow, so submit your shorts and features before prices increase on Film Freeway. I’d planned to attend the 2nd Annual Rom Com Fest in Los Angeles this June so I am hoping everything will be OK by the summer but I’m bored NOW. So I am so excited that they’ve ridden in and saved me from the vapors like Darcy on a stallion over the Scottish moors! The Rom Com Fest has asked Tess Morris & Billy Mernit of ‘You Had Us At Hello’ Podcast to host a virtual screening party of Moonstruck, starring Cher and Nicolas Cage! It’s Tess’ all-time favorite rom-com and what’s not to love a May December romance with Cher and a young dashing Nicholas Cage!?! If you don’t know Tess, Billy, and ‘You Had Us At Hello’ Podcast learn all about them in the Rom-Com Fest recent blog post. You can screen the movie on Amazon Prime, AND for once nobody will <shush> you for talking with a live chat, and the icing on this cupcake of fun will be a post-viewing video chat discussion with Tess + Billy!
