Clouds are appearing on the horizon for Marvel’s Runaways this December 13th on hulu
Over the past two seasons we learned what’s going on in the basement, paying back a favor for power preys on the easily missed and that we have NO real idea what’s going to happen as the kids run away learning to use their abilities. In the upcoming Season 3 the Runaways have new enemies on two fronts from Morgan le Fay to a new powerful force out to get Leslie’s unborn child. Elizabeth Hurley joins the cast as Morgan le Fay as Nico’s power is drawn to a dark realm. They also have new friends joining them with the stars of Cloak & Dagger special crossover episode as the MarvelTV Universe merge! It’s fairly hush hush but I’m looking forward to seeing how they meet especially after the sad news Cload & Dagger wasn’t renewed on Freeform.
The Runaways have left their homes (and evil parents) behind and now have to learn to live on their own. As they scavenge for food, search for shelter, and take care of one another, our kids begin to realize that, for better or worse, they’re stuck with each other. And it’s up to them to take down PRIDE once and for all. But someone sent a mysterious message to Jonah… Is there a mole in the Runaways? Meanwhile PRIDE is focused on finding their children, and Jonah has his own dangerous plan in mind.
Marvel’s Runaways is executive produced by series showrunners/writers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage (The O.C. and Gossip Girl) along with Marvel’s Head of Television, Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger) and Quinton Peeples. Marvel’s Runaways is a co-production with ABC Signature Studios, part of Disney Television Studios. It is based on the Marvel comics created by the award winning-team of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona.
