I’m celebrating the 50th Anniversary in Glendale with friends for my own geeky team of fanboys and fangirls. Meet me in Glendale for a night of fun …
It’s funny but I grew up watching Doctor Who in Davenport, IA and was lucky enough to get the the PBS channel out of Chicago that showed ALL the British Geek series from start to finish. If you’ve never seen the original doctors you’re missing out on a darker series that was quite scary (well it scared me as a child) and not the lighter direction that the reboot took. I love ALL the doctors but in different ways since the characters were so different. Don’t get me started on the companions that some I loved and some .. well I didn’t love (Rose is my least favorite of ALL of them) as much. My favorite new Doctor is David Tennant and my favorite old doctor is Tom Baker. Tom was always amusing but had a hard ‘take no crap’ attitude that always saved the worlds.
