Will Lexus Laceup Running get me jogging?

Now Lexus and LA Mag is trying to get me to run!!!  Is this a sign that I need to try to run again??? My motto has always been unless a zombie, Darth or the blob is chasing me I’m not running dammit!  But all these events look kind of fun so maybe millions of running fans aren’t ALL wrong???

Los Angeles magazine and Southern California Lexus Dealers introduce the first ever Lexus LaceUp Running Series throughout Los Angeles and Orange County that features individual and team half marathon, 10k or 5k races. Four races will take place throughout Southern California in Ventura (11/2), Palos Verdes (11/15), Irvine (12/6), and Riverside (12/13).
