Spread the love

I just love Halloween it’s one of my favorite frivolous holidays that to me is just all fun.  I don’t know if the pagan in me loves it or just that one night of the year I can be anything or anyone I want to be!  It’s probably in my mind the start of the sweet gifting holiday season with my beloved fun shaped and frosted covered cookies!    So I’m super excited to hear about the the Atwater Village Bakery and Cafe having 13 Days of Halloween!!! I was even happier to confirm that it’s all about delicious baked goods all in spooky and scary shapes celebrating the holiday!

The haunted hallowed treats start on Friday, October 19th and everyday brings a NEW Halloween themed treat each day!  It will be a surprise each day with old favorites the Skeleton Gingerbread Men, Ghost Meringues  Monster Eyeballs, Day of the Dead Skull Cookies and Witches Fingers .. oh my so scary!!!! Not to scary to go in my mouth!!! Bwa ha ha!!  They even have a NEW Zombie Cookie for you AMC the Walking Dead Fans … brainz brainzzzzz If you want to be popular at the office, with your neighbors and family you can order them through October 31st for a spooky treat.  Especially if you want to be THE most popular house for trick or treating and if you plan to have a party (PLEASE) invite me if your having these tasty treats!  The cookies vary from $1 to $5 each so get ready for a boolicious holiday season of the witch with the Village Bakery and Cafe!  Make sure you grab your treat since Barbara Monderine, the owner and operator of the Village Bakery and Cafe says, “Halloween is so much fun at the Village Bakery and Cafe and we love coming up with over-the-top ideas.  It’s especially fun because the adults love it as much as the kids.  During the 13 days we see repeat costumers every day; they can’t wait to see what the next treat will be and we sell out fast!”

Now for super The Walking Dead fans don’t forget the Season 3 premier is on October 14 and to celebrate Barbara has created the Zombie cookie. The cookie will be available on Oct 21 and will be on sale at the Village Bakery & Cafe through November 1.
If you want to mark your calendar for each special ghoulish cookie treat you can go to the Village Bakery & Cafe facebook page  for the 13 Days of Halloween release schedule.  If you want to stop in and grab a ghoulish cookie during the Halloween season The Village Bakery & Cafe is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 7p.m., Saturday 8 a.m to 4 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 3119 Los Feliz Blvd. Atwater Village, CA 90039
