I do love quirky so am pleased as punch that LAFF is screening the doc Harmony on Monday! I must admit I’ve never been a Community fan (I know .. how dare I!) but I never found it funny. It just didn’t speak to my humor. I have tons of friends who LOVE the show and always tried to convert me to community love but ehh not for me. When I heard that he was the head of the new animated dark animated comedy Rick and Morty I was like ‘ehh’ will skip that but then I caught the last five minutes of the second episode and fell head over heels in love! The animation was quirky, the humor subversive and dry as well as the voices! I finally got Dan and am now obsessed with seeing if he’ll strike funny bone gold again. Harmontown sounds like it shows what makes him tick and how his life influenced his humor. I’m all in and plan to attend Monday and hopefully meet the man whose humor appeals to the dark places of my soul!
