Rosemary Markson, WBHE Senior Vice President, Television Marketing
It’s been five years since we met Bruce Wayne as the dutiful child who one day will put on the cape and it’s been one dark and bumpy ride. It’s sad to say goodbye to characters who have been gray neither all good nor all bad (some leaned more bad but villains will be villains). I have been watching to see if on the final episode Bruce will become the Batboy or maybe fast forward to the Batman. I watch each episode to see what the writers will come up in this final season. We’ve had the Penguin, The Riddler and now Bane has come to Gotham as the Jim Gordon realizes the betrayal of all the inhabitants. As well as Penguin and The Riddler keep being drawn together like magnets. I’m still trying to figure out how Barabara and Jim got married and how it worked out. Also I don’t think I’ve ever SEEN Barbara Gordon in any show/movie <hmm>.
But as a TV Geek I know that I’ll want to see and watch episodes again. So it’s great news that WB Entertainment plans to release the entire season in a box set and a stand alone final season for those who already have previous seasons. Gotham: The Complete Fifth and Final Season on Blu-ray and DVD for $29.98 / $24.98 SRP and Gotham: The Complete Series, which includes all five seasons of Gothamwill also be available for fans to own June 11, 2019 on Blu-ray and DVD for $112.99 / 99.99 SRP.
