You had me at Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment
Steven Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment are the movies of my childhood like so many across the world. I remember seeing Jaws for the first time and thinking hard pass on getting in the ocean! I wanted E.T. to be my BFF and fight evil government FBI agents. I REALLY wanted a hover skateboard and don’t get me started on not wanting to feed my dog after midnight! So I was excited but jealous to learn that NYC will have an exhibit from Ferguson x Florey of selected films!
The exhibition at Bottleneck Gallery inspired by Spielberg and Amblin Entertainment films will be on display from June 14thto July 10th. It makes me want to grab a flight to NYC! The opening is on Friday, June 14th from 7pm to 9pm at Bottleneck Gallery (60 Broadway, Brooklyn, NY 11249) with both artists in attendance and is open to the public.
The limited edition art prints and screen printed film posters by Matt Ferguson and Matthew ‘Florey’ Rowan are inspired by Spielberg and Amblin classics including Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws and more. The gallery will be open weekdays and free to the public from 11am – 5pm.
Works from the show will also be available to purchase from Bottleneck Gallery and Vice Press at a date to be announced.
