I’m officially old with the new series Daybreak on Netflix starring my childhood smartass boyfriend Matthew Broderick as Glendale High School’s Principal Michael Burr; Austin Crute as the contemplative samurai and geek hero Wesley Fists; Colin Ford as 17-year-old Josh Wheeler; Cody Kearsley as Turbo Bro Jock, the bloodthirsty leader of the jocks; Jeanté Godlock as Mona Lisa, his badass right-hand woman; Sophie Simnett as Sam Dean, the most widely admired girl at Glendale High; Alyvia Alyn Lind as highly unstable kid genius Angelica Green; Krysta Rodriguez as the biology teacher and Gregory Kasyan as Eli Cardashyan (not that Kardashian).
