CHERRY THE GEEK TV-INTERVIEW: “YELLOWSTONE” CAST TALKS PROUD MOMENTS AND TAYLOR SHERIDAN AT PALEYFEST

Spread the love

Some of the cast from Paramount Network’s Yellowstone took the stage at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood for night two of Paleyfest.

Keith Cox, the President of Development and Production for Paramount Network was joined onstage by cast members Wendy Moniz (Lynelle Perry), Dawn Olivieri (Sarah Atwood), Mo Brings Plenty (Mo), and Josh Lucas (Young John Dutton). It was not the panel that was supposed to be there. Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, star Kevin Costner, and the entire main cast was promoted, and all of them no-showed, obviously fallout of the rumored scheduling conflicts/delayed production caused by Costner’s film schedule.

With that being said, this backup quartet of actors did their best to fill the panel with entertaining stories from behind the scenes.

Before the panel, the cast stopped on the red carpet to speak with Cherry the Geek TV about the show, their proudest moments, and the appeal of Taylor Sheridan’s writing.

As one of the first festivals focused on the television industry, for 40 years Paleyfest has presented cutting-edge programs and connected fans with the stars of their favorite shows. Produced by The Paley Center for Media, this year’s festival took place March 31st-April 4th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

Other shows featured in this year’s festival included Abbott Elementary, The Mandalorian, Grey’s Anatomy, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Yellowjackets, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

PaleyFest supports the Paley Center’s many education initiatives, including classes, workshops, and programming focused on today’s most pressing social issues and serving students and educators globally. It also supports the continued preservation of the Paley Archive, featuring more than 160,000 historically and culturally significant television and radio programs.

Yellowstone airs on the Paramount Newtwork. The second half of season 5 is due later this year.
