Disney’s new animated superhero comedy Hamster & Gretel follows Kevin and younger sister Gretel, who are bestowed super powers by space aliens. But something goes awry, and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new abilities. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with Gretel and her pet Hamster to protect their city from mysterious dangers.
Cherry the Geek TV spoke with Hamster & Gretel Story Editor/Co-Producer Joanna Hausmann and voice actress (and Venezuelan soap opera/singing star) Karina Moreno (La Cebolla) about the show at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim. You can watch the full interview here:

Produced by Disney Television Animation, the new music-filled series, airs new episodes on Saturdays at 9:30 AM ET/PT on Disney Channel. The first five episodes are streaming now on Disney+.
