Anthology TV series have been on the rise the past couple of years and the CBS streaming service has a great one on their network. Tell Me A Story season one featured a gritty, grounded version of fairy tales such as Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs and Hansel and Gretel. Season two is also keeping the fairy tale theme but this time around telling a different version of Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.
I was able to sit down with the cast and showrunner/EP at this years New York Comic Con. They discussed their characters and what we can expect this upcoming season. According to Paul and Danielle, we definitely will not be getting a musical episode anytime soon if it were up to them.
The second season of Tell Me A Story will be completely different from the first season. Some of the same actors, such as Paul and Danielle. But they will be playing entirely different characters. Along with new cast mates: Carrie-Anne, Odette, Eka and Natalie.
Tell Me A Story will be dropping new weekly episodes starting December 5th on the streaming platform CBS All Access.
