The cast of the new DC Universe Animated Movie Green Lantern:Beware My Power was on hand at Comic-Con International in San Diego to premiere the film to an audience in Ballroom 20 in advance of this week’s debut on Blu-ray, 4K, and Digital. Before the premiere, they stopped by to chat with Cherry the Geek TV. We will be presenting the interviews all week.
Today we chat with Brian Bloom who plays Adam Strange in the new film. Bloom teases that Strange will play a very crucial role in the story. “When we meet him, he’s down and out, he’s lost everything. He’s estranged from his life and his family and I think when we meet him he thinks that maybe he doesn’t deserve a second chance. When he meets the other characters (Green Lantern John Stewart, Hawkgirl) they are on opposite sides of a war. They are not meeting under the best circumstances, but they all need something from each other in order to overcome the elements of this conflict,” he says. “It will be interesting to see Adam Strange go from zero to hero.”
