Believe it or not, the new Travel Channel reboot of Ripley’s Believe It Or Not will be at next month’s San Diego Comic Con with a panel.
Host Bruce Campbell recently spoke to Monsters and Critics, and confirmed that they’ll be hosting a panel for the series on Saturday, July 20.
“By the way, we’re going to try to drag some of these folks to conventions,” Campbell told Monsters and Critics. “Because I told them, I said, ‘Look, this is what I do. You’ve got to…’ How many boring movie panels have you witnessed, you know? Oh, it was very hot that day. Yes, my suit didn’t fit right. And we thought that was funny. ‘No, let’s get a panel of Ripley’s participants. I’ll give you a panel.’ So we’re going to San Diego Comic-Con. We have a panel coming on that Saturday.”
Other than Campbell, there is no word yet on what amazing and weird guests will be appearing on stage, but it should be a fun time.
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not promises to introduce viewers to “some of the most amazing people on the planet” — whether that’s an expert card-thrower, a high-wire junky, or a contortionist.” It premieres on The Travel Channel on June 9th.
