What are we getting into?
Released in 1979, The Amityville Horror, captivated audiences with it’s chilling portrayal of the haunting of a suburban Long Island home. The film, based on the book of the same name by Jay Anson, sparked a cultural phenomenon that has lasted to this day.

Part 2 of the series, “The Crime,” airs on April 30, 2023, at 10 P.M. ET/PT. This episode delves into the heinous murder of the DeFeo family, which shocked the nation in 1974. The investigation into the murders led to the sole survivor, Ronnie DeFeo Jr., but the police could find no motive for the crime. Enter famed ghost hunter Hans Holzer, who explores the possibility that spirit possession may have caused the crime, adding an even darker twist to this already horrifying tale.
