You had me at icy road with Laurence Fishburn and Liam Neeson in the new action movie premiering on Netflix
I do have a weakness for a good action movie and to see Laurence Fishburn and Liam Neeson teaming up has me ready to brave the freezing cold. The upcoming film ‘The Ice Road‘ premiers on Netflix on June 25th will be one of Liam’s final action films.
In Liam Nesson latest film he and Oscar nominee Laurence Fishburne work together with other truckers to rescue miners trapped in a Canadian diamond mine. The team has 30 hours to cross an icy road to fight not just the elements but big business out to keep a dangerous secret.
The trailer has plenty of action and gives glimpses into how their skills can save the trapped miners with Liam Neeson and Laurence Fishburne leading the rescue mission it’s not just a ‘two man job’. The other cast members Benjamin Walker, Amber Midthunder and Marcus Thomas all have special skills and connection to making this trecherous journey. The company men Matt McCoy and Matt Salinger have the acting chops to hold their own as they try to derail the rescue!
The Ice Road will be one of Liam Neeson’s final action films as he plans to retire from the genre that he has worked in for decades bringing his Oscar nominee acting chops as heroic father, cad to his long suffering spouse and man out for revenge. His final action film will be Memory which is currently in production before he hangs up his ass whuppin for the final time.
The Ice Road rolls onto Netflix on June 25th.
