This Friday sets the world premier of the Leigh Bardugo inspired series, Shadow and Bone. Lovers of Fantasy will be in for a treat with the inspired Russian world. For fans of Sci-Fi, found family and phenomenal world building, this show is cannot to be missed.
With a diverse cast leading the charge of this 8 episode first season, more fans will come to the Grishaverse.
Yes Ben Barnes, it is definitely true that not only will our favorite Grisha’s be shown, but we will also get our favorite Crows! Bardugo also wrote a duology called Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. These stories featured Kaz Brekker and his rag tag group of misfits living life in the Dreggs. By the looks of the trailer, the Crows will be introduced by being hired to find Light Bringer herself, Alina.
Having Kaz, Inej, Jesper and the rest of the Crows look for Alina will differ from what happens in the books. In the series SoC and Crooked Kingdom, the story takes place five years after the events of the last Grishaverse book, Ruin and Rising. Knowing that Leigh had input into the show, I have complete faith in any direction they go.
