Poster and emoji reveal for the new Disney+ series
This May the Force will be with all of us when the new Disney+ The Bad Batch animated series premiers on the annual Star Wars holiday! I fell in love with them when I first met them during the Clone Wars and learned more about each member of the team, why they aren’t like the other clones and their relationship with each other. Their story continued not only across the SWU in books, animated and the Mandalorian. The fandom loves clones and has a special place for the Bad Batch so am very excited for the new series for new adventures fighting remnants of the Empire, old and new enemies (I guess haven’t seen an episode).
The Head Writer is Jennifer Corbett who was a regular writer on Star Wars Resistance and Executive Producers Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Brad Rau, & Jennifer Corbett and Co-Executive Producer Carrie Beck a team immersed in SWU. Voice actors for the new series include Dee Bradley Baker, Ness Bautista, Ming-Na Wen, Noshir Dalal, Andrew Kishino, and Stephen Stanton who will be playing characters we are all excited to see again.
“Star Wars: The Bad Batch” follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in “The Clone Wars”) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch—a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army— each possess a singular exceptional skill that makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew.
What do you think about the new Star Wars series and what characters are you hoping to see?
