JADE LAGARDERE will be debuting a convention exclusive edition of her European comic book AMBER BLAKE at NEW YORK COMIC-CON 2019
The creator of Amber Blake is Jade Lagardere a former model who started walking the catwalk at 12 years old for the Amarni show in Italy. It’s a modern international thriller with action, crime, and revenge that follows Amber Black who was abandoned as a child and takes on her abusers.
NEW YORK COMIC-CON from October 3-6, 2019 at the Javits Center in New York City has the exclusive trade paperback of AMBER BLAKE. It’s a collection of 4 single issues into a special edition square bound graphic novel with a cover by artist Catherine Nodet and illustrator Jackson Guice. The series was inspired by causes important to Jade anti-bullying and child abuse as well as the Belgium comic book culture.
The collection has been translated from French into English for the North American market. It will be available starting November 5, 2019 and can be pre-ordered on Amazon.
AMBER BLAKE has proudly collaborated with illustrator JACKSON GUICE popularly known as BUTCH GUICE a legend in the DC and Marvel Universe. His resume impressively includes many Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, X-Factor, The Flash, Terminator: End Game, Doctor Strange, Badger, Iron Man and most recently Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis.
ABOUT JADE: Belgian-born JADE LAGARDERE started modeling when she was discovered at a young age breaking on to the runway with the Giorgio Armani show. Later she moved to New York, signed with an agency and pursued modeling full time, gracing the pages of various fashion magazines and international campaigns. A mother of three, Jade’s happiest moments are spent dedicating her time to her children and AMBER BLAKE which she considers her fourth baby!
