Audible’s ‘Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light’ Experience at SDCC

I’m ecstatic that Stan Lee won’t be forgotten and that Audible has the fan experience-taking place at SDCC 50^thyear! It’s fitting that we get an introduction to the continuation of his legacy in this auspicious year. 

Audible’s Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light Fan experience is at 327 4th Ave. from Thursday, July 18 – Sunday, July 21 at SDCC. The activation will immerse you in the new universe of Stan Lee superheroes through a series of reality-bending light and sound-driven experiences. 

Comic-Con attendees will have the opportunity to become co-pilots of this new universe through a series of reality-bending light and sound-driven experiences — including a matrix-like “light labyrinth” — representing key moments from Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light, including an introduction written and narrated by Lee. Fans will meet Cameron Ackerson and trace his origin journey from ordinary teen to cyberkinetic superhero. Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light will be open to the public in the Gaslamp Quarter from Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.

Narrated by Yara Shahidi (The Sun Is Also a Star, Grown-ish, Black-ish), Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light is one of the cultural icon’s final collaborations that explores the complex relationship between humankind, science and technology.

In addition to the Fan Experience they will have a panel with Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light narrator and star Yara Shahidi, co-writer Kat Rosenfield, and co-creators Luke Lieberman and Ryan Silbert, moderated by Andre Meadows (aka Andre “Black Nerd”), that will give fans an exclusive look into the new Stan Lee universe of powerful themes and dynamic characters at the San Diego Convention Center, Room 7AB on Saturday, July 20^th.
