I interviewed an amazing Animation Director and Artist Anna Hollingsworth at WonderCon 2019. Anna grew up always drawing with a love of art. Her parents were the ones who suggested Animation to her as a profession. She is Based out of LA and in an animator that went to University of Georgia with a BFA in Digital Media and graduated from the Animation Mentor program.
Animation is an always a shifting industry Between 2D and 3D. Anna always loved 3D, but wanted to go back to refresh some courses. Even though she had been in the industry for a while designing. She took the Animation Mentor program, not really sure what to expect. She balanced her regular job and going back to school with her regular life. In the end helped her perfect her 3D skills and in turn helped give her a new admiration and passion for 2D.
Anna has animated and drawn on many amazing projects. Some of her work includes The Mr. Men Show, The Rickey Gervais Show, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie: Sponge out of Water (2015), Dick Figures: The Movie (2013), Nature Break and more. She also has done some music videos for Cut Chemist, The Gossip, Kid 606, Jakob Dylan and more.
