I have a PaleyFest LA Date March 2019

Spread the love

The Paley Center for Media welcomes Pose, This is Us, and the Tenth year reunion of the cast creative team of Parks & Recreation to the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood March 15 – 24, 2019.

“Every year PaleyFest presents the best of television, providing fans with a rare behind-the-scenes look at both the hottest new shows as well as beloved classics,” said Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center’s President and CEO. “We could not be more thrilled to announce our first three selections: two highly acclaimed dramas and a special cast reunion ten years in the making!”

I’m beyond ecstatic about the upcoming Paleyfest LA this March with the new groundbreaking series Pose! I am a huge fan of the series and watched live from the moment it premiered on FX with the talented and beautiful diverse LGBTQ cast exploring the history of the ball culture world against the rise of AIDS decimating the community, classism in NYC, and the creative vibrant art scene. This year they welcome This is Us back as fans of the show still racked by Jack’s death and how it’s affected the entire family. Like many fans I am very excited fro the reunion of Parks and Recreation a series that launched the career of numerous cast members to film, tv series (the TV show that keeps giving), and my FAVORITE holiday ‘Treat yo self’! I recommend purchasing a membership to the Paley Center so that you don’t miss attending your favorite panel and get the perfect seat! When you are a member you are able to attend events and early seating in Los Angeles and NYC, support TV history, special exhibits as well as other benefits.

I know what panels I want to fangirl over at the upcoming PaleyFest 2019! My panels include 9-1-1, RuPaul’s Drag Race, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (Final Season on the CW), The Walking Dead (I do love Zombies and Rick!), MacGyver (watched the OG series with my Granpop as a kid), Pose (one of the Best new series and the diversity/inclusion of the cast!), Star Trek: Discovery AND the new Twilight Zone, This is Us and Parks and Recreation Reunion! It looks like I’ll be at the historic Dolby Theatre every night during the Paleyfest LA! I love hearing from the cast and show creators from how they came up with the series idea, episodes and great casting that keeps me tuning in!

What panels do you plan to attend? Leave a comment below. See you at Paley Fest 2019!

“Pose holds a special place in my heart, and so does being honored at PaleyFest, which to my mind has always meant a show has broken through culturally,” said Ryan Murphy, creator and executive producer of Pose. “I’m excited for my incredible cast and collaborators to gather with me in March and have a direct conversation with our audience who have been so supportive. It promises to be a special night.”

“We’re thrilled to be reuniting at PaleyFest. And truth be told, we were all hanging out already anyway, so carpooling will be easy,” said series star Amy Poehler and co-creator & showrunner, Mike Schur.

“We had a wonderful time at PaleyFest celebrating the first season of This Is Us and we are so excited to get the opportunity to be back again honoring another remarkable season of This Is Us with our incredible fans,” said Mandy Moore.
