I might have to buy a new tabletop book of President Trumps illuminating tweets from Eisner Award-winning cartoonist Shannon Wheeler. Shannon is publishing Sh*t My President Says: The Illustrated Tweets of Donald J. Trump with IDW’s imprint Top Shelf Productions this August 2017. The illustration of the President in 140-characters says a lot about not only the man but the people who voted for him to lead our country.
If you go to the link you can see a preview of the hardcover book which (to me) looks like a literal interpretation of his own words with a gentle bit of humor poking fun of the President’s love of the medium.
You may not know Shannon Wheeler by name or face (he is an artist) but he draws cartoons for the New Yorker, Mad and the Onion (not that Shannon is name dropping). I think rather you want to resist or a proud deplorable everyone will enjoy this book celebrating Donald Trump’s wit and believe in alternative facts. The book has a selection of Donald Trump’s most revealing tweets that will be imagined as cartoons giving a glimpse into how Shannon has read them revealing Donald Trump’s mind.
