I was able to interview the the cast of Shadowhunters at the 2016 Wondercon and it was a blast! (click on photos for youtube links)
I got to hear from everyone about how they figured out their characters. Everything from reading the books to reading online studies of the beloved books written by Cassandra Clare. I must admit going into the series I only know what I saw in the movie from a few yaers ago since the Mortal Instruments collection is on my ‘to read list’ so wasn’t sure what I’d think about the show.
I must admit I got sucked in and have been a faithful fan watching on Freeform every week but hadn’t realized HOW sucked in till I got a chance to talk to them in person.

Now that we are counting down the days to the season finale I’m on pens and needles wondering what will happen. How can Jace deal with learning that his dad is evil AND his beloved Clary is his sister . Now that Alec has pulled a ‘Graduate’ and ran off (so to speak) with Magnus will they be able to get past their own relationship hangups? I’m looking at YOU Magnus I noticed you casting shade about what to call your status after breaking up the wedding ceremony! AND I noticed a little heat between Isabelle and Simon! As Isabelle matures into a leader will she like to have a nice vampire beside her to kick but as a dymanic shadowhunter duo? I’d never have guessed that CLARY would be the person most comfortable with herself and the path she’s on since Jace seemed like a rock. I hope we’ll learn if her mom will be woken by true love’s kiss from Luke one sexy hairy man! Did you peep who stole the Mortal Cup???? So much has been going on the last couple of weeks my head is spinning not sure who’s good or evil! THE HUNT IS ON IN THE SEASON FINALE OF “SHADOWHUNTERS”
TUESDAY, APRIL 5 ON FREEFORM
Time is running out for the Shadowhunters to stop Valentine in “Morning Star,” the season finale of “Shadowhunters,” airing TUESDAY, APRIL 5 (9:00 – 10:00 p.m. EDT) on Freeform.
Jace, who is still reeling from everything that has happened, makes hunting down Valentine his number one priority even though he continues to wrestle with his conflicted feelings. In hopes of finding a way to stop Valentine before it is too late, Clary and Simon must find the key to unlocking Jocelyn’s coma. But that key to unlocking Jocelyn’s spell may just undo the Downworlder peace treaty, Simon’s relationship with Raphael, and the Vampire clan in the process.Meanwhile, Alec must deal with the aftermath of his decision and what his choice means for his future.
