Where can you get close, personal interactions with the stars and creators of your favorite television shows? PalyFest LA 2016!
Taking place from March 11, 2016 – March 20, 2016 at the Los Angeles Venue, PaleyFest brings together the hottest shows in television for the most outstanding television festival in the country.
Attendees will be able to sit in on panel discussions featuring television favorites such as Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) from Empire on March 11th. Created by Academy Award nominee Lee Daniels and Emmy Award-winner Danny Strong, “Empire” follows music tycoon Luscious Lyon (Terrence Howard) and the fight among his three sons — Jamal (Jussie Smollett), Andre (Trai Byers) and Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) — and mom Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) to control the business (La Times).
Highlights or full episodes will be screened, and each program will end with a Q&A session with the audience. So prepare those questions now! Dick Wolf is known for record breaking series in the police genre. His start came from work on Hill Street Blues (1981–1987)​ , but his monumental success began with Law & Order (1990–2010), which turned into a franchise with several spin-offs including Law & Order: SVU, the longest-running primetime drama currently on television. While the cast of Law & Order: SVU has changed over the years, there has been one constant character since the beginning – lead Sergeant Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay). The show has managed to last for so long due to the content that is ripped from real life stories and the assortment of guest stars. The series airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC.
