Fall Fashion selection for Plus Sized Beauties from Nordstrom at the Grove

I decided to check out the fall fashions for plus size/full figured women at Nordstroms the Grove and fell in LOVE with the great color combinations.  I love to have pops of colors interspersed with my grays, browns and of course blacks.   I saw a bunch of pieces that would look great with my fall clothing from last year as well a few items that I consider transitional.

I adored the skinny pants I saw from Cummo’s clothing line that weren’t skin tight but instead more body slimming.  I think it looks better on fuller sized women to avoid the sausage tight and the super loose.  Both cling to all the wrong places on a woman’s body (in my opinion) and will show every flaw it touches.

One of the pieces that I really liked was a printed black and gray sweater that I’d wear with the fitted black pants or my favorite gray wool slacks I got last year with a brightly colored shirt.

Notice the gray sweatshirt that was more fitted than the norm and would look great with my favorite jeans or the printed skirt.  It would be great for a date or a casual Friday at work.  Underneath I’d wear a colored sleeveless cami for a spot of color to break up the black/gray.

I also fell in love with the Michael Kors Gold ‘Chanel’ Style jacked.  I would wear it ALL the time with casual jeans (fitted since the jacket has a boxy shape) and a cool graphic shirt.  For work I’d wear it with a brown pair of pants and the turquoise sleeveless shirt or the printed multi brown colored blouse.  I’d wear a pair of big gold hoop earrings and just a few bangles for when I took the jacket off.

My recommendation for fall shoes are of course booties, flats and high heeled oxfords (still rocking them from the last couple of seasons) in brown, black, navy and a couple of bright colors/metallic or animal print.  I LOVE the new bass modern take on the classics with the great textures, colors and styles.  Whoever is designing the new shoes deserves a HUGE kiss from me!
