This year’s VIP Lounge Designer is James Magni whose modernist approach to interior design has created a sleek sophisticated retreat for high-end collectors and celebrities.
The Los Angeles Jewelry, Antique & Design Show will present a series of interior designer vignettes. Each vignette will be theatrically staged to tell a story of how to marry decorative art, antiques, contemporary elements, and the comforts of home. The designer vignettes provide a snapshot for visitors to create an inspiring, impactful environment out of any sized space. Participating designers include Hutton Wilkinson, and Patrick Dragonette, Sandra Espinet among others. Book signings for Hutton Wilkinson and Sandra Espinet will take place in vignettes on Thursday, January 16th at 2pm and Friday, January 17th at 3pm, respectively. A lounge area will be designed by Beverly Hills-based designer, Donald Tallarico.

Art + Architecture: Building Museums for the Future
Designing a space for a public art collection is a complicated task. The building can be an art piece in itself, grow attendance and become a destination for tourism. But it has to stand the tests of time, house a collection in perpetuity, reflect the community and the collection it serves, and incorporate room for growth. Learn how some very different institutions are tackling these challenges and building museums of the future.
