I discovered the missing person series ‘Found’ on Peacock and was intrigued by the first trailer. It’s a band of damaged people looking to save the missing that is often overlooked by the police and media when they don’t look like ‘All American Next Door’. They are the team that will do anything to find and return them to family and friends.
I attended a panel with the stars, show creator, co-showrunner and producer that discussed the inspiration, casting, and stories.
Each episode has a missing person and we get the backstories of team members and the mysterious ‘sir’ the dirty secret in the basement. The series was created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll and co-produced by Greg Berlanti.
It’s the perfect series for those who love True Crime podcasts and are amateur couch sleuths!
The Series premiered Tuesday, October 3rd, and can be watched the next day on Peacock when the series returns on January 9, 2024.
