The cast and creative team behind the massively popular Disney+ Star Wars series The Mandalorian, gathered at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood as the opening night selection for the 40th annual Paleyfest. They took the stage to celebrate the show’s first three seasons and tease what might be in store in the future.
Mandalorian creatives Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Rick Famuyiwa were joined onstage by Mando himself Pedro Pascal, as well as Bo-Katan actress Katee Sackhoff after the audience viewed the 3rd season’s fifth episode “The Pirate.”

As one of the first festivals focused on the television industry, for 40 years Paleyfest has presented cutting-edge programs and connected fans with the stars of their favorite shows. Produced by The Paley Center for Media, this year’s festival took place March 31st-April 4th at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
Other shows featured in this year’s festival included Abbott Elementary, Yellowstone, Grey’s Anatomy, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Yellowjackets, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
PaleyFest supports the Paley Center’s many education initiatives, including classes, workshops, and programming focused on today’s most pressing social issues and serving students and educators globally. It also supports the continued preservation of the Paley Archive, featuring more than 160,000 historically and culturally significant television and radio programs.
