Spread the love

Found L.A. Festival

This free citywide fest is made up of resident-led tours of neighborhoods that include Boyle Heights, Highland Park, Inglewood, Koreatown, Leimert Park, Little Armenia, Little Tokyo, the Los Angeles River, MacArthur Park, San Pedro, and Thai Town. Surprised that West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Beverly Hills didn’t make the cut? Here’s your chance to discover parts of L.A. you’re less likely to be familiar with by exploring our city.  The festival is October 1, 2011 from 9am – 5pm.  Now’s your chance to try authentic foreign food!  Yummy

Found L.A.: Go on a free tour or one to showcase your neighborhood!
Los Angeles is a city of neighborhoods, each with its own story. On October 1, from 9 am – 5 pm, LA Commons is hosting this free, citywide event to connect people to communities across the metropolis, Boyle Heights and Studio City, East Hollywood and San Pedro, to name a few. Join us and people who live in many corners of the city to experience an after-hours “sneak peak” into the local bakery, see inside an artist’s studio, or explore a hidden alley garden. The day will culminate with a celebration of Los Angeles’ ingenuity through ethnically diverse food, music and art.
