I got to attend the 2011 dineLA Kickoff  where Mayor Villaraigosa spoke about Los Angeles and our world class cuisine!  I was very lucky to have the opportunity to speak with a few of the participating chefs in attendance.  I spoke with Chefs Mary Sue Milliken, Wolfgang Puck, Andrew Vaughan and Joe Miller.

I briefly spoke with Chef Wolfgang Puck spoke with me about his passion for food, his start in Los Angeles and his support of St. Vincent’s Meals on Wheels charity.  He was charming, funny and just so nice to speak with me.  He even gave away GIANT cookies but I didn’t get one since they ran out .. boo hoo!! tee hee

Don’t forget that the First Annual Los Angeles Food and Wine Festival is October 13 – 16, 2011.  If you would like to attend any of the events you should buy your tickets ASAP since quite of them are sold out already!  I’m really looking forward to this event since it will be the first year we have a world class Food & Wine Festival in Los Angeles!
